Sales Engineer
(full-time, permanent position)

The right person for this role will know exactly what this exciting position entails.

About the role:

As the Fishbowl Sales Engineer, your role will be to showcase Fishbowl to prospective clients by deeply understanding the pains in their existing workflows and demonstrating Fishbowl’s capabilities to solve those needs.

More than anything, you will love and thrive working in sales and helping prospective clients. You will be the living, breathing best ‘first experience’ that wows every prospect who you connect with Fishbowl.

Your personal ‘sales + service DNA’ makes you a success because you know how to understand each prospect’s needs – and by doing so fuel their own company’s growth and success with the many powerful tools that Fishbowl provides their organisation.


  • Deliver Fishbowl Demos and follow-up Q&A sessions Achieve/surpass assigned sales targets with prospective and existing clients.
  • Learn our ideal customers profiles and verticals
  • Master our value propositions and be able to translate the pain points prospects share into concrete solutions
  • Record and update all Demo notes in Salesforce in a timely fashion and populating all required information on every deal
  • Work cross functionally with Marketing, SDRs, Onboarding, Sales Engineering and Account Management to ensure an outstanding customer experience
  • Learn our competition and be able to clearly convey why a customer wins with Fishbowl

Ideal Qualifications:

  • 2-5+ years experience in Midmarket or Enterprise Software Sales/SaaS with Proven track record
  • B2B sales expertise with an emphasis on Inventory, Manufacturing or Warehousing businesses
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Experience using Salesforce
  • Small-Medium sized business empathy, particularly for businesses in manufacturing, warehouse and ecommerce verticals
  • Willingness to be coached, desire mentorship, and have a growth mindset

Implementation Consultant
(full-time, permanent position)

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced and professional Implementation Consultant.

This role is a permanent full-time position based out of our Fishbowl APAC office located in beautiful Mooloolaba, Sunshine Coast, QLD.

The successful candidate will bring:

  • Proven experience with client relationship management
  • High-performing business skills
  • Technical aptitude with business and inventory/ERP systems would be ideal
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills would be great
  • Crystal Reports or SQL experience would be ideal!
  • Above all – someone who shares our passionate customer service ethics and is the right fit within our dynamic, professional team.

Key Responsibilities – Variety with a capital ‘V’:
The successful person will naturally thrive on the challenge that comes with wearing the many hats that being an Implementation Consultant requires:

  • Implementer
  • Trainer and Coach/Hand-holder
  • Operational Process Consulting and Efficiency-creator
  • Technical advisor
  • Software Implementation, process setup and troubleshooting of databases, plugins and eCommerce integrations
  • Maintain knowledge of the Fishbowl Inventory suite of products and related software solutions as required.
  • Occasional travel to our clients onsite in Australia and occasionally New Zealand and South-East Asia

You create your schedule but you must be willing and able to travel occasionally for the role.

Simon Jupe, Managing Director

Simon Jupe is the Managing Director of Fishbowl Inventory Asia Pacific. Simon started as an end user in the United States and noticed the potential for the Australian Market that was begging for an inventory and manufacturing solution for small to medium sized businesses. Fishbowl was that solution, equipped with the same tools as the big boys at a fraction of the cost.

We are super proud to have our whole team based in Mooloolaba, on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, just 1-hour north of Brisbane.

Our team is on your time zone, here to help in ‘real-life’ either over the telephone, or face to face, onsite in your business.

It’s not just about the data, it’s also about the people. We pride ourselves in having the best local team on the planet, with all support and sales done through our beautiful Sunshine Coast office, 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (AEST).
